W, Wing motored to Draper Sunday afternoon to visit a few hours with Mrs. Marie L. Fjeld. Mr. and Mrs. Abe Goates of Spring-ville Spring-ville motored to Lehl Friday last and spent the day with Mr. Goates' parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. James Goates, and other relatives. , Mrs. George D. The Gleaner girls of the Fifth Ward and their teachers were guests of Miss Lillian Lott at her home Tuesday evening at a cleverly arranged "back wards' party. x The guests entered through the back door, telling the hostess they had enjoyed the evening. E. Cotter. The Daughters' of the Revolution of the Matilda Evans chapter of Lehi met at the home of Regent Clara W. Larson last Thursday for the purpose of electing new officers. Mrs. Emma L. Peterson was elected regent with Mrs. A: H. Bone vice-regent, Mrs. O. A. Slade secretary-treasurer and May M. Lott, corresponding secretary. The newly elected, officers ' are to serve for a term of two years. The regent and vice-regent are to plan the work to be carried on by the organization and will select their own committees. . Mr. and Mrs. George Zimmerman were the honored guests at a pleasant surprise party Saturday evening, the occasion being the birthday anniversary anniver-sary of Mrs. Zimmerman.
