The young couple are well known In both cities and are receiving congratulations from their mony friends and relatives. They will make their home in American Ameri-can Fork for the present time. Taylor, Miss Marvel Taylor and Mr. and Mrs. II. C. Hart and daughter, Lillian, of Midvale, motored to Provo Sunday to visit with Mr and Mrs. iMaroni McAffee, whose marriage took place recently. Mrs. McAffee, formerly Mlsa Mary Wan-lass, Wan-lass, was a former Lehl girl. The Third ward missionary committee com-mittee entertained at a farewell party last Thursday evening in the Arcade- hall, complimentary to Won-for Won-for Barnes and Bert Beck. Dancing was the diversion of the evening and light refreshments ; were served. The party was well attended by the boys many friends. . - Mrs. Clarence Arave of Idaho Falls, Henry Peterson, Lester Peterson and Vernal Peterson of Shelley, Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Peterson of Spanish Span-ish Fork, and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Peterson of Salt Lake, were called Tuesday to the bedside o,f their father, Mr. John Peterson, Sr., who has been dangerously ill for the past week with heart trouble. From last reports Mr. Peterson's condition was about the same. o .- Successful Health Conference A successful health conference was conducted in the Memorial building Friday afternoon with Dr. Charles M. Smith of Provo, In charge, assisted as-sisted by county nurse Evalina Reed. Nineteen babies were examined but few were found to be absolutely normal.
