F. Fagan and family. ' Boyer Anderson, Bert Beck and Wonfor Barnes left Monday to attend th missionary school in Salt Lake prior to their departure ..for the mission mis-sion field. Mr. and Mrs. Harmon McAffee, Mrs. T. A. Bateman and Mrs. Nettie McAffee Mc-Affee were visitors in Salt Lake Thursday combining business with pleasure. Mrs. John Peck is visiting in Salt Lake this week with her sister, Mrs. Blaine Pierson. Bobbie Pierson who visited at the Peck home last week returned home with her. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Barnes entertained enter-tained at an' attractively appointed dinner at their home Sunday evening in compliment to Won,for Barnes. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Zimmerman and family and Mr. and Mrs. Val Zimmerman and family moved to Eureka last week, where they have taken over the Ford agency there. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Larsen entertained enter-tained at a family dinner Sunday at their home in honor of the sixth birthday of their daughter, Lois. Covers were laid for nine. Mrs. John Brown in company with Mrs. Abe Gudmundsen and Mrs. Annie Munns spent Tuesday m Bing ham visiting with Mr. and Mrs. P. O. Loveless and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Gudmundsen. Mr. and Mrs. J. W, Bone left Tuesday Tues-day on a business trip to Rigby, Idaho. Mr. Bone will make a short trip to Fort Benton, Montana, before returning return-ing home. They expect to be gone about a month. Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Fox and daughter, Gertrude, attended a missionary mis-sionary farewell party in West Jordan Monday night in honor of A. J. Sabey, who is leaving soon on a mission mis-sion to the Central States. Daniel Brown of Layton, a missionary mission-ary companion of Eldon Barnes, was a week-end guest at the Barnes home. Blaine Johnson of Pleasant Grove al so a missionary friend visited with them on Friday evening. Some exceptionally good programs ,for the Third ward Mutual Im provement meetings are being ar ranged for this month by the ward "M" Men and Gleanor Girls. All ward members are urged to attend these meetings. Mrs. F. D. Worlton entertained at a delightful birthday party Saturday afternoon in honor of the seventh birthday of her son, Dan. The little guests were taken to the matinee, after which refreshments were served to 22. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Beck entertained entertain-ed at a family dinner Sunday at their home In nonor of their son. Bert Covers were laid for twenty-one. The out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Garrity and family of Eureka, Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Beck of Oregon. Mrs. Clarence Grant and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Beck of Salt Lake. Mrs. Joseph E. Smith entertained the members of the I. D. Club and their husbands at her home Thursday Thurs-day evening. Wells a delicious lunch wa3 served. Mrs. Oliver Kirkham entertained twelve lady friends at a prettily appointed ap-pointed luncheon at her home Friday afternoon. "Cootie" waa the main diversion of the afternoon, prizes being be-ing won by Mrs. Blanch Dahl and Mrs. Ell Bachelor, followed by the serving of a delicious lunch. Christensen and children motored to Provo Saturday evening where they were guests at a dinner party given in honor of Walter H. Poison, and children of Sandy, Mr. J. W. Edwards of Huntington, Mrs. Elmer Blampied and son, Bert, of Salt Lake, visited at the W. W. Dickereon home the later part of last week.
