Carlson and children of Roosevelt, visited in this city Thursday and Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Allred. Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Pagan, "Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Clark and Mrs. Thelda Brown spent Saturday visiting in Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Duwayne Anderson. An-derson. Mrs. Dean Capener and two sons, William and Norman, of Garland, arrived ar-rived Sunday and will remain until after the holidays with Mrs. Capen-er's Capen-er's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Norman. Mr. and Mrs. Booth Sorenson left Sunday for Price where they were called on account of the serious illness ill-ness of Mr. Sorenson's father, Mr. Edward Sorenson. They will be gone indefinitely. F Webb returned home Saturday Sat-urday from Raymond, Alberta, Canada, and Mr. Leon Taylor returned return-ed Monday from Chinook, Montana, where they have been 'employed for the past three months for the Utah-Idaho Utah-Idaho sugar company. Mrs. Celestia Schow entertained at a birthay dinner Sunday at her home in compliment of Mrs. A, F. Webb's anniversary. Centering the dining table was a vase of roses. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Webb, Misses Virginia, Barbara and Dorothy Webb and Celestia Schow. The Mothers Club was entertained Friday afternoon by Mrs. Mary Holm-stead Holm-stead at her home. The time was pleasantly spent in social chat, and a tasty lunch was served to the club members. The next meeting will be held Friday, December 23rd, at the home of Mrs. Richard Norman. In honor of the birthday anniver sary of Miss Ruth Dickerson, last Thursday evening a number of friends pleasantly surprised her. Games and a dainty lap lunch were enjoyed " by Misses Winzel Gray, Gean Evans, Udon Evans, Euella Clark, Delila Fox, Verland Evans, Ruth Dickerson, Messrs.
