After dinner they enjoyed a theatre at Provo. Mrs- John Street and daughter, Melba, have returned home after spending the past few months in California with relatives. Mrs. Street reports a very pleasant visit. Mr. and Mrs. John Shaw, Mr. and Mrs- Ben Rose and daughter, Mir iam, of Salt Lake, Mrs. Alice Tuck- field and Leone Jones were dinner cmests of Mr- and Mrs. James Com er last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs- Clem Turner en tertained the Fifth ward basketball boys at a delicious oyster supper at their home Saturday evening. The affair was given to urge the boys on to victory in the M. Men games. The guests report a gay time. Supper guests of Don Loverldge and Mrs. Julia Vaughan, following the dance at Lehi Tuesday evening were Mr. and Mrs. James Glover, Mr. and Mrs. E. The adult sewing class, under the leadership of Mrs- Juliet Goates, at the high school is progressing nicely. Dell Asay left Wednesday for the C- C. camp at Moon Lake in Strawberry Straw-berry country. Raeldon Goates and Odell Peter son returned to Logan Sunday to school at the U. S. A. C, after spending the past two weeks here with their parents, Mrs." Juliet Goates and Mr. and Mrs- Fred Peterson. The Fortwall camp, Daughters of the Pioneers, will meet Friday, January Jan-uary 11, at 2 o'clock p. m- at the home of Mrs. Addle ' Rhodeback-Their Rhodeback-Their meeting was postponed one day on account of the temple excur sion coming Thursday. Robinson's little daughter, Joyce, is in the Dee hospital at Ogden, suffering with blood poisoning- She has been very ill, but is improving. Games were played during the evening, af ter which tasty refreshments were enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. Elias M. The occasion was the third birthday aniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Anderson's little daughter, Dor othy, and they went to help cele brate the event. Patriarch and Mrs- A. J. Evans were guests of honor at an outstanding outstand-ing social affair, given in Salt Lake Friday in honor of the First Constitutional Con-stitutional convention. Mr. Evans was one of the members of- the first constitutional convention and the social was given in honor of the thirteen living members and their wives, who were all present A social was enjoyed at 3 o'clock, followed by a banquet in the Lion House at 5 o'clock. In the evening an entertainment enter-tainment was given in the taberna cle. Mr. and Mrs. Evans were ac companied by Mrs. Heber C- Webb, and son, Lynn. They report a splendid splen-did time. The regular annual meeting of the stockholders of the Lehi Irrigation company will be held in the Memor lal building Monday, January 14, 1935, at 2 p- m. for' the purpose of electing a board of directors to serve for the ensuing year and to hear the financial report for 1934 and for the transacting of such other business as may come before the meeting. AUTO STRIKES HORSE A horse was killed on the State highway, just west of the George Price residence Sunday night at 9:20 o'clock, when struck by an automobile automo-bile driven by Mr. J. T. Young of Salt Lake City. Prom reports received the horse walked directly in the path of the car- A little boy in the Young car received a bump on his head, but no one was seriously injured.
