Hayward of Logan, were Sunday guests at the A. W. Davis home. Mrs. William Hayward returned to Lehi with them after a week's vuit at their home. The Busy Bee 4-H club under the leadership of Phyllis Smith attended the bonfire program in Alpine for the 4-H clubs of the north part of the county. . . Mrs. William Hayward will leave the first of the week for her home to Washington, D. C, after spending six weeks here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A, W. Davis, and in Logan with Dr. and Mrs, J. W. Hayward. Mrs. Ruby Morris of Salt Lake, was the dinner guest Sunday at the home of Bishop and Mrs. William Hadfleld. Miss Verland Evans who is employed em-ployed at Myton, was here Satur day with her parents, Mr, and Mrs. Sylvester Evans. Mr. Franklin Jackson of Cedar City, spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Jackson. Miss Nora Brown returned to her home in Salt Lake, after spending the past month at the home of Mrs. Eunice Gray. Victor Holmstead in company with Justin Stevenson of Salt Lake, enjoyed a fishing trip at Grand daddv Lakes, from Friday until Sunday. Mrs. Sarah Ann Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Reese Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnson of Adams vllle, Utah, spent Sunday and Mon day with Mr, and Mrs. Charles Colledge. , Mr. and Mrs. Andy Trane and Mrs. Abe Gudmundsen of Amer ican Fork, motored to Springville on Thursday, they also visited in Payson with Mr. and Mrs. Le-Grande Le-Grande Gudmundsen. The Merry-Makers 4-H club held their meeting Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Ivor Peterson. The girls completed their second project and made plans for the trip to Alpine Al-pine for the bonfire program. The members were served a light lunch. Mr. and Mrs. George A. Lewis in company with Mr. and Mrs. Harmon McAffee, left Saturday on a fifteen days vacation trip. They Intend to visit Yellowstone Park, Glacier National Park, the North Western States and motor down the coast into California. Saratoga Springs Gaming Wide Reputation Saratoga resort is steadily becom ing more popular and is gaining a splendid reputation for the wonder ful swimming pools. On Monday Dr. Rasmussen, of New ork, who was traveling to the coast stopped for a swim at the resort. Before leaving he told the management is was the finest and most refreshing swim he had ever enjoyed. Sunday seven doctors and their families were among the largi crowd of bathers at the resort. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Gray moved last week into the home of the lat Sarah Stewart. Mrs. Julia Brown returned home with Mr. and Mrs. Leon Taylor to Idaho Falls, on Friday for an extended ex-tended visit. , Mr. and Mrs. Frank Martens of Ogden, moved Saturday to make their home in this city. They will live in the Jay Fox home in field. Second Ward to Occupy Dell August7,8&9 The Lehi Second ward will occu py the Mutual DeU in American Fork canyon at their annual sum mer outing, August 7, 8, and tn. All those who are contemplating on going on this splendid outing are urgied to watch for aeiume plans, which will be announced later by the officers. . o ' ' CLARK FAMILY REUNION On Wednesday, July 26, the de-j cendents of the late William Clark will me;t at a family reunion at Saratoga Springs. The reunion is held every year on the birthday of Mr. Clark. This year will mark his 108th anniversary. Teams were com posed of 10 men each. .A trophy was presented to the '.winning team. Thirteen teams participated in the state shoot, among them were the following from Utah county: Goshen. Payson, SpringMlle, Spanish Span-ish Fork, American Fork, Lehi, Pro vo, and Provo Union Pacific Rail road. Utah county took the first three places, Union Pacific receiving receiv-ing highest honors, Payson second and Lehi third. Lehi Post No. 19. have an ex ceptional team and always finish high in the various shoots. Little Lu Gean Brown, the small daughter of , Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Brown, received first prize, a large Baby picture, in the baby show held last week at the Royal Thea tre.
