TELEPHONE UTAH CROP REPORT SHOWS OUTLOOK FOR WHEAT AND FRUIT Conditions on June 1 indicated a production of winter wheat in Utah of 2,940,000 bushels, compared to 8.-104,000 8.-104,000 In 1931, and an average crop for the five years, 1924-1928, of 2,-989,000. 2,-989,000. Utah's peach crop this year, according ac-cording to the outlook on June 1, is forecast at 646,000 bushels. The crop of 1931 amounted to 650,000 bushels, and the average production produc-tion tor five years, 1924-1928, waa 510,000 bushels. The pear crop Is forecast at 68,-000, 68,-000, bushels, compared to 49,000 bushels last season and a five-year average of 64,000 bushels. The present condition of cherries Indicates a production of about 8,-700 8,-700 tons, compared to 2,000 In 1931 and a five-year average of 4,600 tons. The forecasts for 1932 are based upon conditions on June 1. The actual outturn of each crop will depend de-pend upon wheother conditions from now until harvest are better or worse than usual.
