Dishop FJeld read tho fol- J lowing sketch: 8 Biographical Sketch. v Lars Victor Larson, son of Lars Larson Lar-son and Stena Katherlno Andorson, t was born In Orobro, Sweden, July 24, 1857. Until 14 years of ago ho lived l on a farm with his parents, when ho l was apprenticed to a shoemaker, remaining re-maining with him for tbroo years. In August, 1877, ho Joined tho b Church of Jesus Christ of Lnttorday Saints and in 1880, was ordained an c elder and spent two years In mission- 1 ary work on tho Island of Gotland. In g 1882, ho iminjgratod to Utah, locating in 1 Salt Lake City, whero ho was married I to Hilda Chrlstlno Soderlund, by m whom ho had nlno children, live boys and four girls. In October of 1020 ho was marIcd to Annio Johnson, daughter of tho Into John A. and Anna C, Carlson. Ho Is survived by his widow, four 80118, Emanuel, Victor. RoUbcn and Otto and four daughors, Mrs. R. G. Olson of Graco, Idaho, Mrs. A. E. Jones of San Diego, California, Christina, Dlanch and a step-daughter and three grandchildren. Ho has always al-ways boon In perfect health, very active and ambitious, until a few days before his doath whon ho complained ot pains In his chest.
