Tho KcderaPI'rohlbltlon Law, although enacted subsequently to tho State Law, does not supersede tho Stato Law. Local and Stato authorities havo equal responsibilities with tho Fedoral authorities. It is tho policy of tho Federal Government to co-opornto with tho Stato authorities author-ities In bringing about a strict observance obser-vance of prohibition. Attention Is also callod to tho fact that tho Fodoral prohibition work throughout Uio Country is divided Into two branches (1. Permissive. 2. Enforcement). In ordor to oxpcdlte action, all communications regarding tho holders of Fodoral pormlts to uso Industrial alcohol, eta, should bo addressed ad-dressed to the Fedoral Prohibition Dlroctor, Salt Lako City, whllo all other complaints should be addressed to tho Fedoral Prohlitlon Agont, Uo-gent Uo-gent Building, Salt Lako City. Although tho Federal Government has approved tho formulae for tho manufacture of cortaln extracts, proprietary medicines, toilet preparations, prepar-ations, etc., tho law provides that uamo must novor bo sold under circumstances cir-cumstances from which tho vendor might reasonably doduco tho inton-tlon inton-tlon of tho purchasor to uso them for bovorago purposes.
