Many people were warned about the flood danger but could not heed the warnings. This fact was especially true in Colorado. Officers went through some campgrounds with bullhorns exhorting the people to leave. Many people ignored the warning. At this writing the death toll is reaching 100, hundreds are hurt and many are missing. Is it really human nature to ignore warnings? The experts say so. Rites Miss Peggy Lynn Porter will become the bride of Jeff C. Morrill Friday, August 13 in a ceremony to be performed by Bishop Devere Fowler at the Lehi North Stake Center. She is presently serving as a Sunday School teacher in the Lehi Fourth Ward and is employed at Equitable Life and Casulty Insurance Company in Salt Lake City. ' Jeff graduated from Jordan High School and LDS Seminary. He was active in drama and used his art ability to design many play sets.
