Completes 122 Sponsored by American Legion Project Miles of Construction in 1966 Lehi girls each year have the opportumy to learn now tonanaie firearms as well as how to become marksmen. The class is sponsored by the American Le gion and is held weekly, usually during the fall. However, this year, because of Illness of the instructor, Dennis Finch, the class did not start until January. It will continue until the end of May, to be climaxed with a shooting meet between the girls and a boys team. Mr. Finch said the girls learn the proper handling of guns, the different positions to shoot from and gun safety in general. This year a total of 14 girls are enrolled, including Judy Atkinson, Sandra Kelley, Linda Evans, Cindy Neal, Sherry Olson, Ruby Busk, Lynn Scown, Esther Hutch ings, Barbara Girot, Jane Adams, Chris Bernal, Normalee Scown, Jetta Barnhart and JackieGooch. Mr. Finch said that the girls show remarkable skill and hopes that this year they can win the meet against the boys.
