The Utah Congress of Parents and Teachers closed its annual convention Thursday after action adopting a three-ye- ar 1 1 The 822 delegates from lo cal PTA units throughout the state approved a program outlined by Walter D. Talbot, deputy state superintendent of public instruction. The program, he said was aimed at "immediate and criti cal problems." It ranged from better health and safety instruc tion in schools to development of a wholesome attitude toward 10-po- I PTA members also elected two vice presidents for three-ye- ar terms. Dan W. The Lehi unit helped with refreshments and entertainment at two parties at the Veterans Hospital Six members worked in the Gift Shop and the unit donated $82.50 worth of gifts. One member donated $37 worth of puzzles to the San Francisco Veterans Hospital.
