Several practice rounds have been held by the various groups and both Junior and Little League are now ready to operate. Little League play will be on Wednesday's, generally, with Junior play taking place on Thursdays. Matches are scheduled to begin at 2 p. m. for both groups. Corinne Williams to be Featured Three Lehi Boys Specialty Star at Lehi Roundup Plan to Attend Corinne Williams, named as the most outstanding working cowgirl in the nation, will perform her specialty acts for the Lehi Roundup rodeo, June 27, 28 and 29. She not only has perfeected a most skillful riding and roping act, but also takes her turn in bronc riding and steer wrestling. She plays the banjo and sings and has appeared in numerous night clubs, in that capacity on the West Coast. She appeared on the "What's My Line" program and stumped the panel. No other lady bronc rider is listed in the RCA rodeo business, was reported, and their hasn't been a lady steer wrestler since 1920. She travels with her two children in a mobile home, because, as she says, she is a "working mother." Fans are, reminded to watch for her at the rodeo performances. At the Jamboree there will be all the essential services a Jamboree fire department, bus line, post office, banks, telephone exchange, and places for religious worship. In order to participate boy scouts must be 12 years of age as of Oct. 1, 1963, and have earned first class rank by July 1, 1964. Explorers must be a registered exminimum plorer with tenure by January 1. 1964, or a transferred registered explorer from a boy scout troop as a first class scout. Mr. Bates, 67, of Brooklyn, New York, died Wednesday, June 19, in a Brooklyn hospital after a brief illness. A former Tooele resident, he was born in Holden, Millard County, November 14, 1893, a son of Ormus A. , and Sarah M. Martin Bates. He was married to Evelyn Odette Cooper in 1922. A veteran of World War I, he was a supervisor of sanitation in h the street department of the of Brooklyn, until his retirement. He is survived by his widow, Brooklyn; brothers, sisters, Anthony M., Van Nuys, California; Lawrence N., Castro Valley, California; Lucian H., Salt Lake City; Dwight A., Lehi; Van Q., Van Nuys, California; Mrs. Theodore H. (LaNeve) Willis, Laguna The funeral Beach, California. was held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at 260 East South Temple, with burial in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in Salt Lake City. BOY Among family members attending the funeral of Neil Levi Anderson, 20, son of Dale and Agnes Phillips Anderson, were the grandparents, Bishop and Mrs. Hyrum A. Anderson of this city. Also from Lehi went Bishop and Mrs. Robert Webb and Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Hayward and (laughters Karen and Marcia, and son Lee, and Mrs. Richard Pulley (Sheila) of Salt Lake City. Rishop Anderson offered the prayer with the family. Neil, an invalid since birth, died Monday, June 10. at his home in Salt Lake City. He is survived by his parents, one brother, Phillip Dale, Bountiful; two sisters. Mrs. Lee Openshaw' (Lorraine) and Mrs. Robert A. Larkin (Rosalie), both of Salt Lake City, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, Lehi. Legion Auxiliary Members Serve as Hostesses Serving as hostesses at the in augural reception at Girls State at the Utah State University in Logan, recently were several members of the Lehi unit of the American Legion Auxiliary. Mrs. John C. Ernst was a counselor for the week. LLOYD JONES GRADUATES Lloyd W. Jones graduated from Brigham Young University, with a degree in chemical engineering. He was honored as being the outstanding director of the student chapter of the American Institute of Engineers. He was president of the BYU unit during the past year. He has accepted a position with the Dow Chemical Company at Midland, Michigan. He left by plane this week. Prior to his departure, he visited with family members on the West Coast, accompanied by his wife and young daughter Cindy. They spent some time in Portland, Oregon, with her Mr. and Mrs. Earl parents, Bennion. She will remain with them for two weeks before joining her husband in Michigan. Mr. Jones is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank W.
