Casey Bown of the State Fish and Game Commisison, will at tend as the speaker of the evening. He will discuss the fishing proclamation and the overall fishing picture in this area as well as the State Fish and Game planning program. There will also be a question and answer period for those having queries concerning the new fishing regulations. Anyone interested is cordially invited to join the members at the meet ing. Fishing Tackle For Jnnlors Fisherman having any tackle they plan to discard are urged to turn it m to w. D. Watkins, advisor for the Junior Wildlife organization, and it will be put to good use with the junior mem' bers. Local SUP Members Join Mormon Bn. Incorporated T. F. Kirkham has completed the history of W. S. S. Willes, of Lehi, and has submitted it to the . office of Mormon Battalion, Incorporated, receiving recognition for this accomplishment, the first history registered in the organ! zation. Mr. Kirkham, well known member of the Sons of Utah Pioneers organization, will take the place of the late Mr. Willes on the roster of the new battal ion" which when completed will number 500 men, 31 women and 17 children, just as the original ' company did. Also included on the list of members of the new "battalion" are John Bushman, Dr. W. L. Worlton and David Roberts. Others will follow. Each will represent a member of the original company which accomplished the noted achievement of the longest infantry march in history. Announcement of the new organization was made at the annual reunion of Mormon Battalion trekkers, held Saturday evening in Whitney Hall in Salt Lake City's 18th Ward. SUP members are invited to join the ranks until the quota is filled. Each is required to prepare the history of the member he will represent and send it to Nicholas G. Morgan, historian of the new Mormon Battalion Incorporated. Uniforms are being tailored in exact replica of the original Mormon Battalion garb and will be worn in parades and on treks, Mr. Kirkham reported.
