In 1932 Lehi took five points in the Regional meet, placed last qualified one man for the state meet and took a sixth place. In 1933 Lehi took six points in the Regional meet, coming in ahead of Nephl, Tintic, B. Y. H. and American Fork; qualified two men for the state meet. In the state meet Markland Allred won his heat in 16.8 in the high hurdles, and took fourth in a 18.8 final heat. Left Bitting on his marks Allred worked his way from sixth into fourth, almost getting a tie for third, Woffinden came home with a third place medal in the high Jump.
