Kalyn Peck gave the talk, "How Becoming a Silver Gleaner Has Enriched My Life," with a response by her mother, Beda Peck. Lola Webb spoke on, "What the MIA Does for Me." Kathleen Peck offered the closing prayer. Refreshments were served under the direction of the refreshment committee, Kaye Peterson and Lola Webb. Mrs. Doris Peterson, group leader, took charge of the program at which parents of the girls were present. A Junior division for girls up to 15 years of age has been organized, and the Senior division will take in those above 15 as well as young married women. All girls and women in Lehi Stake are invited to take part in this program and to enjoy the sport. Eva Oxborrow has been appointed chairman of the Softball divisions, and she urges all teams to be organized and on hand for Monday night's play. The teams will meet at the high school athletic field beginning at 4 p. m. evening was spent by the members of the Liahonian Club at their closing party, last Thursday at the Orville Gunther summer home in American Fork canyon. F. Evans, reporter. The club members will entertain their husbands at a canyon party in July. Swimming Mr. Gray reports that the swimming program is progressing exceptionally well, and the children taking part are showing improvement in swimming. Swimming classes are held Mondays and Fridays, and the bus leaves from the high school at 9 a. m. Tennis Around 50 boys and girls are enrolled in the tennis program, making it one of the most successful this city has ever had. Mr. Gray says that quite a number of girls are showing interest in the nt vice-preside- sl sport, where other years there have been too few to hold a program. A tournament schedule will be set up later in the season. Pony League More boys are needed in the Pony League to make the team more effective, according to Coach Mrs. Catherine Innes of Paris, Russell Hillman, league director.
