Also present were Miss Carina Croft and Miss Mary Lu Mathews, former missionary companions of the bride. A wedding breakfast at the Doll House, followed. A lovely reception was held Saturday evening in the Fourth Ward church. The bridal party stood before a large window with tall candelabra, and palms as a background motif. Baskets and arrangements of roses, peonies and seasonal flowers were designed by Mrs. Mable Jones. The bride was radiant in a gown of white slipper satin designed with lace top, standup wing collar, long pointice sleeves and button back. The veil of lace trimmed illusion fell to finger tip length from a tiara of imported orange blossoms and rhinestones. Rhinestones were repeated in her necklace, the gift of a sister. The bridal bouquet featured her favorite flowers, gardenias, with carnations in an all white horseshoe design. In an the Salt June 6, daughter . The titian haired bride was lovely in a model of blue lace with corsage of orchids. Standing with her at the door were her mother, Mrs. LeRoy Peterson, and the mother of the groom, Mrs. Glen Hampton. Both were gowned in summer prints with rosebud corsages. Following the pink and white theme were baskets and arrangements of roses and summer flow ers designed by Mrs. Mable Jones, j Pink candles were placed in crystal holders. Blue delphinium and pale yellow iris lent a not of contrast. In charge of the guest book was Mrs. Virginia Phillips, sister of the bride. At the first meeting, the girls and their mothers met at the Carlson home to plan activities of the summer. They will make an apron, head scarf and darn a stocking for the exhibit. Refreshments were served to those present. "Su-Sew- s" VISIT INT and daughter, Joyce, spent several days at Grand Canyon. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Grant Littleford and daughter, Nelda. Mark is employed there at the tourist resort for the summer.
