Mr. Ash talked to the students and told them the imimportance of the convention and seriousness the pressed upon them and responsibility placed upon them and told the students that he had always believed in freedom and self government for the students, then appointed Joseph S. Robison as permanent chairman. John Shepherd was selected as sergeant at arms. Cecil Ash was named chairman pro tem. Chairman are appointed for the various problems of the convention, and committees under each chairman. The chairman selected are: Article 1 (Name) Craig Crabb. Article II (Adminstration) Dorothy Roberts. Glen Article III (Legislation) Degelbeck. Article IV (Judiciary) Rex Zimmerman. Paul Artcle V (Constabulary) Allred. Article VI (Citizenship, Eligibility and Awards) Ila VII (Ammendments) Paul Allred. Tom Article IX (Ratification) Gaines. Gene Crabb was named general secretary of the convention. will The Junior High Students form their own student body government and enforce their own laws. The various committees will hold regular meetings and report to the convention. They will learn proper methodss of making and enforcing laws by their own work in the student body committees. The committee on Artice 1 met with the convention Tuesday evening. The committe headed by Glen Degelbeck had selected the name of "The Associ ated Student Body of the Junior High School.
