Under a plan of the CWA a nurse will work in the homes and the schools of the Alpine district It is planned to have the nurse in Lehi in the near future. She will spend a week or more in Lehi. The Lehi schools have the most complete health record of any school in the district Each students health record is placed on a card and graded according to the physical condition of the student and tagged with a small colored tab signifying the physical standing of the child. A child with a blue tag is in the a grade and needs no medical help, those tagged with a red tag have minor troubles, those tagged with a green tag are undernourished and need attention. There is a large number of green tabs in th files and a great number of undernourished children not 'only in the homes of the unemployed but also in omes of those who have more. Children wo needed immediate attention have been taken care of. Some tonsils removed and teeth taken care of, over 1000 children ave been examined and it is estimated that at the greatly reduced rates given by local docors and dentists that $600 will be necessary to care for those unable to pay for medical help. Next week a urine analysis will be taken and parents are asked to with the teachers in this import-a- n part of the health program. A special sudy of the among the children is being made. Some splendid work is being done in te physical education department among all grades- - A group of boys under Mr. Loveridge's tuition are doing some splendid tumbling stunts and will give an exhibition at one of the basketball games in the near future, game. possibly at the Lehi-Prov- o Parents should get behind the teachers and welfare workers and as sist them every way possible in carrying out this wonderful health program. mal-nutriti- ' PRIESTHOOD SOCIAL SUCCESSFUL!
