General Chairman Leo Hansen says "that, is a good day to start, and we as residents of Lehi have a good, big ' job ahead of us." The Beautification Committee wishes to congratulate the people of Lehi for the work al ready done .toward niaking their premises more attractive, and also wishes tp encourage them to do more. Meeting Tuesday, the Committee completed J tHe organization's plans for the day's activities. It was decided that the chairmen of 'the wards will attend to the details of the organi zation within their own wards. Born in Goshen, Utah, October 8, 1920, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lewis, she moved with her parents to Pleasant Grove and later to Orem, where her parents now reside. A graduate of Lincoln High School, she was married to Mr. Southwick, June, '1940 in ,the Manti LDS Temple and had lived in Lehi since her marriage'. Mrs. Southwick, an active LDS Church worker, was taken to. the hospital Sunday afternoon after an illness of six weeks.
