She was a brilliant student and held the following positions and awards of honor during her high school days: Scholarship, class representative, Lehi-tsio- n staff, school accompanist, debatShe ing staff and posture parade. was also awarded a scholarship at the Utah Agricultural College for out i standing efficiency in high school. At the Brig-haYoung University, In addition to being ' elect, she was a member of the Les Ceciliennes Social Unit, and the Mask Club. She had also won scholastic recognition at the B. Y. U. She was organist In the L. D. S. Second Ward for three three years and has taken active part in various ward activities and programs. Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Areva Armitstead. and her grandfather Elisha Davis. Funeral services will probably be held Sunday but definite arrangements will not be made until the arrival, of her grandfather who Is in Seattle. The building is built of native rock hauled from the hlls near the camp and has been constructed by the F E R A labor. It stands on the brow of the hill at th south entrance of the camp and shows what can be accomplished by artistic stone masons. Surrounding the building on the east and north sides is a large verenda commanding a view of a large part of Utah and Salt Lake Counties. A low wall is being constructed of the same stone as the building bordering the new road In front of the Hostess house and grounds, which have already been laid out and some trees and shrubs planted. The wall curves to the west making an entrance for the new road Into the camp. The Interior of the building contains an entrance hall. A modern kitchen. Larg reception hall, check room, rest rooms and card rooms. The floors are of maple and the walls are of the same native rock as the outer portions of the building, showing artistic arrangement of masonry. The reception hall 'nd card rooms have beautiful stone fireplaces, each with beautiful designs worked out in the rocks. The rafters are hand hewn and strap hinges and latches of the doors are hand hammered Iron, The chandiliers nre to be made from Sabers taken from German prisoners of the World War. A basement contains a modern furnace for heating the building.
