Following the work in Lehi which wfll take about three weeks the men will visit Cedar Fort. Fairfield and Manning, then on to other parts of the county. The whole state will be worked in effort to adjust the valuation of homes and improvements in an effort to equalize taxation in the state. The information will be listed for the state tax commission so that all homes will receive Just valuation. In making the survey the men are instructed to make allowance for all depreciation of the buildings allowing for age and depreciation in their values. In most oases the survey will be the means of lessening taxes on home improvements. Lehi, Monday In Pedestrians about the city are find ing difficulty in finding sidewalks n many sections of the city, due to the forests of tall weeds that have been allowed to run riot during the summer, until in many cases they are shoulder high. Many comments are heard each day about the weedy condition of sidewalks and roadsides. , The visitor to our city sees first the unsightly weeds on every hand. A few lours work by the residents would go a long way toward clearing the side-also that they can at least be found, and would give our city an appearance of cleanliness. At no time in history has there been so many unemployed youths who can and would clean the weeds away from their homes, if given the proper encouragement. Why not have a comp clean-uand all get busy? munity The city officials are asking residents to take especial notice of the outbuildings many of them being unsanitary, and to take proper steps to have them cleaned and put in sanitary order.
