Show Death of Mrs. Devey. Mm. Ann Kcmhaw Devoy, whose funeral took place at Alpine Utah, on July lnth, lilOti, was Iniru Oct, lth, 182Biit Wolverhampton, StaHbitlshire, England, and died' July 12th, 11)00. She was mariied to William Devoy, Juno 21st, 1815. SI10 was thu mother of ten children, child-ren, six of which are now living, four in Utah, 0110 in Arizona and one in England. The names ot those living in Utah aru: John Devey of Lehi; Joseph at Salt Lake City; Wm. H. at Alpine, and Mrs. James C. Hcaloy of Alpine. Sho has Hfty-thicc grand children, and foity-sovcn great grand children. child-ren. Sho joined tho ChiU'cn of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 18PJ and emigrated to Utah in the year 1878 with her youngest daughters, her husband having preceeded her one year. Shu settled in Alpine on her arrival in Utah and has lemaiued there ever since. Bhe, with her husband always made a homo for" thu Elders and for seven yearn tho. meetings of tho Latter-day Saints were held in their home. Sho was at 0110 time President of tho Young Ladies Association of tho Alpine Wind. Shu was. also an ofllccr in the Primary Association for eighteen yearn, pint of which time sho was Piesident of same. Shu lived and died a faithful Latter-day Saint The fuucial was very largely attended; at-tended; the Alpine Meeting JIouso being 111 led. Appropriate remarks were made by Elder W. ll. (taint of Am. Fork, Patriarch Henry Moyle, Elder IliulHcld of Lelii ami Bishop Marsh of Alpine. Tliu Choir rendered somu very appro-priatu appro-priatu selections, among which was her favorite hymn, "OMy Father."
