Mrs. Mary Kol)or(s Warnock, Farmington artist, shows her painting Autumn in Huntsville" which has brought her the honor of being invited to join the Associated Utah Artists. Farmington woman invited To join Associated Artists Farmingtoi In Utah, an invitation to become a member of the Associated Utah Artists, is an indication that an artist has arrived as a professional traditional painter. Such an honor has been awarded to Mrs. T. Ward (Mary Roberts) Warnock, Farmington. Only two other Davis County artists are currently members of the exclusive group. They are: Mrs. Doris Hamilton, Farmington, and Mrs. Merlin B. (Jessie) Behunin, Woods Cross. One of Mrs. Warnocks portraits of David O. McKay, president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, hangs in a Stake House in Los Angeles. Versatile in her work, she has exhibited seascapes, landscapes, still life and in both oils and water colors. Her acceptance of the invitation to join the AUA, will give her the privilege of entering her works, along with the other 7." members of the select group, in the semiannual exhibits at the Art Barn. The Art Barn, A Finch Lane, is the official headquarters for the AUA, which was organized is years ago, for the progression of portraits 1 Utah art and artists.
