JOURNAL The Crow Which Flew 14,000 Miles Stacks Up Well HEARSE-TRE- K - Crows are notorious migrants, some flying 2000 miles from their home rookeries in the course of a year for no reason, apparently, except love of travel. But the greatest traveller of old tame them all is a three-yea- r who ran Ole crow named talking of a record total 14,000 up flight miles in three months. Ole Crow is the property of a distillery which manufactures a beverage bearing the name and picture of a crow and which uses him for advertising purposes. The saga began while Ole was enroute to a New Yoik City television station to make a personal appearance. Craftily unhooking the latch on the cage door he skipped out. Then he circled around Times Square and headed west as his handler watched helplessly. A month later a newspaper clipping from a California paper told of a tame crow which was amusing passersby by calling down from treetops, Bottoms up! and My treat!
