After trailing about five miles they cornered the cat in some rough ledges. (Most of the men had snow shoes which enabled mauled badly by the big cat the men succeeded in tying her up. Then the trip back to Duchesne with . the eat. The following day they found another track but the dogs were so crippled up by the battle of the preceding day that they couldnt overtake the sec- ond cat. In another week or two the cat men plan on going back for another try for the one that got away. They wont attempt this trip until the weather and the dogs have both improved.
