Thats a good question in the summer when the kids are home from school. Somehow, you just cant . ; feed them hot mush on days when the temperature soars to 90 degrees before you even get out of bed. If you plan on going the cold cereal route, youd better be pre-- ; pared to shell out up to $2 for a box that is likely to be emptied at one sitting. West Point homemaker Pat Galloway, 2400 W. 300 N., recently offered several suggestions for great breakfast beginnings to a group of local women. From the Puffy German Pancake to the Fruity French Toast and the Hawaiin Breakfast Bars, each recipe included below is simple to prepare and chuck full of nutritious ingredients. Pat tells an interesting story about the Hawaiin Breakfast Bars. It seems that while she was going to school in Hawaii, the family she lived with made up a fresh batch each and every morning for over a year. Noting the convenient availability of fresh A fun way to make French toast is to put your eggs and milk into the blender and whirr together. Then add fruit of your choice. Applesauce, crushed pineapple, cherries or whatever you want to try. Whirr the fruit with eggs and milk in blender. Pour into bowl and dip bread in this mixture before frying.
