Greg Davis, a California native who attended Weber State College, will teach physical education with head coaching duties for the track squad and assistant coach duties with the football team. The two replace Steve Carlson who accepted a coaching position in Rigby, Idaho and Bryan Bowles who reisgned to accept other duties. According to company officials, the purpose of Utah Powers Annual Alternate Energy Contest is to encourage young people to explore creative ways to produce energy while conserving precious natural resources. Projects display students knowledge and creativity. Every student who enters the Alternate Energy Contest receives a certificate of participation, a and will be judged by a committee of community leaders. Winners will receive trophies and cash awards.
