Rachel Ellison Barlow, daughter of Haven J. and Bonnie Rae Barlow of Layton, has been called to serve in the Columbia, South Carolina LDS Mission. She reported to the MTC of Jan. 31. Rachel spoke in the Layton 12th Ward on Dec. 30. An open house followed at her home, 552 Elm. Street for her family and friends. She also spoke on Jan. 20 at the Ogden LDS Institute 7th Ward. She is a graduate of Layton High and has attended Weber State College and Davis Vocational School of Business. She has been employed at Barlow Realty. Clinton Scout Earns His Arrow of Light CLINTON Eric Roskelley, II, has received the Arrow of r V 4- - i f J5' Light award, the highest award in Cub Scputing. He is the son of David and Coralee Roskelley, 1888 W. 2300 N., Clinton, and is a member of Pack 390, Clinton 5th LDS Ward. Roskelley is a fifth grade student at Clinton Elementary who enjoys video games and sports and is on the Clearfield Swim Team. He has earned eight activity badges in the Webelos Cub Scout program this year under the direction of David Roskelley, leader. - ERIC ROSKELLEY Application Deadline For Art Fair Planned SALT LAKE CITY Applfrom food artists, performers and visual artists who wish to participate in the 1985 Utah Arts Festival are due Feb. 20 through March 7. Performing arts applications must be accompanied by an auh dio casette recording or VHS video cassette recording representative of the work to be performed at the Festival. The performing arts application deadline is Feb. 20. Eighty performing artists will be selected from a wide variety of expres-- . sions and media. Fourteen food booths and five mini-foo- d booths will be available to individuals, organizations ications half-inc- and commercial restaurants. Food booth applications must.be submitted by Feb. 27. Food artists will be judged on creativity and quality of menu to be offered at the Festival. Visual artists and craftspeople producing original works may submit applications through March 7. Applications must be accompanied by five 35mm slides showing works they will sell at the festival.
