Ryan is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Poore and Tyson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Gibby. Ryan has earned his Bobcat and Wolf badges, four arrows, the Soar Award, and the Sum mertime Pack Award. M frien Effnfin Layton City Honors Employee of Month LAYTON Rulon Thornley has been named the December Employee of the Month in Lay-toHe has been an employee of the city for the past 17 years. Thornley served as the public works director for 15 years, overseeing many special projects such as the building of four reservoirs, drilling and utilization of two culinary wells, and the installation of many water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer main line projects to areas that did not have water service. He has been a long time resident of 118 Dawson, Layton, with his wife Norma. They are the parents of five children. Thornley served in the U.S. Navy for two years and has been involved in civic and church affairs.
