Show Page IB gmisu North Edition Lakeside Review Wednesday, June 29, 1 983 Vacation Bible School to Open in Layton two sessions is planned: June 20 July 1 andor July 5 - July 15. Children between the ages of 5 and 12 may be enrolled for one or both sessions. Classes will be held from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at the Bible stories, LAYTON arts and crafts, weekly field trips, fun and games are planned for this years Vacation Bible Program sponsored by St. Rose of Lima Parish in Layton. A program with 1 four-wee- k it Catholic Education Center near Layton High School. Keeping with the theme of this summer as the summer for heroes, this years program will focus on religious heroes Bible heroes from the JJQDEu7 ' the saints, and church leaders. It is hoped that the children in the program will become aware and familiar with stories and persons in the Bible, lives of the saints, and church heroes. South Weber Elementary students Brenda Stanger, Monty Poll, and Kent Hatfield received the placques at their school. Wasatch Elementary reci- pients, in Clearfield, included Sherla Beireis, Kevin Monson, Jason North, and Beverly Maestas. Fremont Elementary in Sunset, Brent Mayer, Krissy Miller, Scot Paulsen, and Krista Presnell were honored.
