Homes outside of the target area will be considered for loans if money is available. The target area is the old Kaysville townsite, and from 200 from 300 East to South to 600 North, Spencer said. Applicant interviews will begin next week, she said. Work is to possibly begin on the homes by Aug. 1. Code violations will be fixed first with improvements done by contract. Information about the program is available from the Davis county housing authority at The City Council approved zone changes for four pieces of property following public hearings last week, prompting Councilman Robert Arbuckle to say he hopes the increased number of such requests means more homes are finally going to be built in the city. The council finalized rezoning of two areas an agricultural zone, to a from residential zone allowing lots as small as 8,500 square feet. Dean Christensen requested that change forhis property located at 53 W. Chase Lane. He said he plans to create two quarter-acr- e lots e from the piece and one will be sold. Councilman Dennis Knoles said he hopes the rezoning of a piece of property to a residential zone when it is surrounded by agricultural property wont threaten the farming operations that exist there now. I hope any new owners are told that there are', farm animals there now, so they wont ' complain about smells or flies, Knoles said. acres of property belonging Seven and to Mr. and Mrs. Norman Watkins at 2100 N. to allow Main was rezoned from A- to construction of 26 single family homes on the Setm-a- .
