Some revisions had to be made in the first set of plans because the cost would have been over the budgeted $2 million set for the auditorium. Modifications were made but Joyce McKean, a member of the teachers advisory committee, said all specifications made by the committee were included by the architect. The most important specifications requested by the committee were a fly loft for scenery, 1800 seating capacity and good acoustics. Sterling Lyon, the architect working the project explained the modifications at the board meeting and stressed the attention given to the acoustics. Consultants were used that had worked on the acoustics at the Cottonwood High auditorium. The major changes in the plans cut space in the back stage area, eliminating a green room, some storage and dressing rooms. The approved plans include seating for 1,814 on the main floor and balcony. The stage will be 40 feet by 80 feet with orchestra a apron and on 20-fo- ot ot area. Plans for, the new gymnasium at the high shcool have already been approved and will be bid as a package with the auditorium. It is hoped that all may be each grouping. ..colors and styles limited to stock on hand, so shop early for best selection! in the gymnasiums estimated cost of $3 million will keep the total package right around $5 million for the two. The gymnasium will be located just north of the existing gymnasium. The auditorium will be located to the east of the existing gymnasium. The two facilities will share a corridor, public restrooms, and an elevator. A drivers training range will be made to the north of the auditorium and will also serve as extra parking for the gymnasium and auditorium. A tower for the driving range will be put on top of the gymnasium. V.E. Griffin, principal of Roy high, feels that the auditorium will not only serve the school, but will bring cultural enrichment to the whole southwest corner of Weber County. womens sportswear buys for men NOW 75 JUNIOR PANT TOPS 72 NDIGO BLUE JEANS 31 JUNIOR COORDINATES 53 JUNIOR PANTS 53 WARM UP SUITS 36 CARDIGAN SWEATERS 39 WHITE BENDOVER" BLAZERS 44 MISSES' BLOUSES 87 TANK TOPS 65 SHORTS 48 LARGE SIZE PANT TOPS 2.98 14.98 7.98 .7.98 9.98 12.98 29.98 7.98 1.98 . 2.98-7.9- 8 5.98 NOW TEE SHIRTS 37 CREW OR 71 S.
