Staff Photos By Dan Miller Santa Worth the Wait LAYTON What happens when A hundreds of kids want to see Santa all at Claus on Saturday afternoon the same time? The parents wait. Santa and his reindeer pulled into the Fort Lane Shopping Center about 2 p.m. to a greeting from a block-lon- g line of kids, with their parents, wanting to firm up the list of desired goodies this ' in a Santa greeted the youngsters trailer complete with hay for the reindeer. Some parents, to the obvious disappointment of their children, left before they got to the trailer. One man said, I bought them a candy cane. Thats all they wanted anyway. The childrens faces belied his statement, were The children anxious YAWNING. Most of them sat on his lap, told him what they wanted and received a noncommital along with a candy cane and an admonition to help around the house by keeping their rooms clean, Even the parents with the sourest of looks standing in line admitted it was worth the wait.
