The plan calls for more trees, fewer shrubs, native plants and an overall informal design using curves and rounded slopes. City council members didnt agree. They wanted a beautiful window for those entering the Farmington City limits, and they were willing to spend more money on maintenance. OGDEN - WSUs Ott Planetarium will sponsor a star party Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Antelope Island State Park. Participants can enjoy views of Saturn as it rises in the east shortly after sunset. This is the best time of the year to see the ringed planet. On a Clear night its impossible to overlook its brilliance, said John Sohl, director of the planetarium. Those who stay late will be able to follow the planet as it traverses the sky and disappears below the western horizon. Participants also will have the opportunity to see a crescent moon, Uranus, Neptune ir and Jupiter. Shortly after dark, Salt Lake City astronomer Seth Jarvis will present a slide show, A Tour of the Universe. Telescopes will be set up at the White Rock Bay trailhead, just below and east of Buffalo Point on the island. The party is free to the pubHowever, there is a $7 per car fee to enter the park. In the case of inclement weather, the party will be canceled. lic.
