The district has developed 200 partnerships, from restaurants offering free meals as good-grad- e rewards to shops buying new classroom computers. Many partnerships serve primarily as financial sponsors, giving' money instead of time. Last year, they donated about $100,000. The foundation's mission is to improve community support and increase resources of schools to enhance the quality of public education. time can be a .
