Weber Gets 2 Computers WEBER Basic beskills will soon computer come part of the daily schedule for South Weber Elementary School students. PTA fundraising projects for 1983 made it possible for the school to purchase two Franklin Ace 1000 computers to enhance the school curriculum. The purchase price of $1,229 raised by the PTA was matched by the Davis County School District to obtain the computers. We chose the Franklin because they are compatable with the Apple II computer we now have, said Principal Robert Larson, the Franklin was less d expensive and had a feature that appealed to us. According to Larson, the school is looking for parent volunteers to come in and learn computer skills and then spend time teaching the students. Any parents interested in this volunteer program should contact the SOUTH bos. .
