Show Tammy No Victim; KATHY KELLY Review Correspondent I can CLINTON do anything! Tamra Child declares with conviction. This has had a petite few more challenges to overcome in her 11 years than many people face in a lifetime. Tammy has a mild to medium case of cerebral palsy but she doesnt let her handicap stop her. Im no different than anyone else except my legs dont work as well as other people's do. The doctors told me I wouldnt be able to ride a bike, but I can ride a bike! I rode my bike when had casts on both my legs! I even rode my bike 30 miles in the March of Dimes and I finished the sixth-grad- er 1 bike-a-tho- n course. Tammys father, David Child of Clinton, added that, about IS miles into the course, Tammy fell and skidded across the road, scraping her arm. Her injury was quite painful but Tammy chose to keep going. Tammy was able to raise $161 for the March of Dimes through her efforts. When Tammy was in the first grade,, a classmate challenged her to shinny lip a pole at the school and ring the bell. Tammy accepted the challenge and used her hands and arms to pull her body up the pole instead of her legs and feet as most people do. She was able to reach the top and dared the boy to climb the pole. He couldn't do it. Symposium Dated by Homemakers .
