Show Lakeside Review, Wednesday, Aug. 5, 1981 AYSO THESE Golfers Set to Tee Off Against Cancer STANDOUTS have earned the right to travel to Colorado next week and participate in a tournament there. The three teams include Golfers of all degrees and abilities will have a chance to tee off against cancer as well as compete for national honors when Laytons Valley Golf Course plays host to the 2nd Annual Walter Hagen Golf Tournament, Aug. 10. The tournament will consist of teams sponsored by local businesses with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. The winning team will advance to Salt tournaLake City for a state-wid- e ment with the winner there going on to national competition in Florida. The event, which is named in Layton's boys, 11 Layton's boys and Layton's girls. Hagen was a victim of cancer. Teams will be equalized according to handicap and members will play the best ball during the event. Individuals are also welcomed to join and should contact the Valley View course prior fo Aug. 10 in order to be placed on a 18-ho- le team.
