Show 10B Lakeside Review, Wednesday, Aug. 19, 1981 ( Obituaries I Phil-liCLEARFIELD E. (Ned) Shoell, 71, of 196 Ross Drive, died Thursday, Aug. 13, 1981, in a Bountiful nursing home. He was born Aug. 11, 1910, in Lindon, Utah, a son of Edwin Giles and Melvi-n- a Sarah Cobbley Shoell. He married Zella Bunnell on Sept. 28, 1932, in Provo. He was a member of the Clearfield 4th LDS Ward and had served as scoutmaster. He served in the Navy for six years. He worked for the Standard Lumber Co. of Ogden. He worked at Hill Air Force Base as a superintendent and parts expediter, and retired in p . ' - '&! ' 1970. It is very difficult to get property owners to clean up, Pierce said. Also surviving are three Drive, with Bishop F. Renny Knowlton officiating. Friends may call at the Lindquist Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main, Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment in the - Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Rachel E. Elliot CLEARFIELD -- Rachel Elizabeth Elliot, 94, formerly of 111 East Center, Clearfield, died Friday, Aug. 14, 1981, in the Davis North Medical Center. She was born May 4, 1887, in Syracuse, a daughter of James and Rachel Layton Warren. She married Leland J. Elliot on June 21, 1911, in Clearfield. The marriage was later solemnized in an LDS Temple. He died Dec. 10, 1970. During her life she lived in Syracuse and Clearfield and was a member of the Clearfield LDS 3rd Ward. She taught religion classes and was organist in the Primary and Relief Society. She is survived by one sister, Irene Bowen, of Roy. Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 17, at the Lindquist Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 S. State Street. Bishop 1981, Marshal McEntire of- ficiated. Interment was in the Syracuse Cemetery. She married Glenn Hen-rMingus in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Mar. 2, 1945. She married Lovell Whitney, May 9,1950, in Elko, Nevada. He died Aug. 18,1975. He was bom Dec. 19, 1919, in Fairfield, Idaho, a son of James Angus and Belle Maud Ellis Baxter. He married Reda Lublin on Aug. 18, 1942, in Ft. Lewis, Wash. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Ternle. She died Aug. 19. 1961. e married Connie J. Perez on Feb. 10, 1963, in Salt Lake City. a He had warehouseman at Hill Air Force Base for the past 18 years. He was reared in Pleasant Grove, Utah, and had lived in Salt Lake City. He had lived in Layton the past 15 years. He attended schools in Provo and Pleasant Grove and graduated from Provo High School. He was the first student to pole vault on the track team at Provo High School. He was a member of the Layton 1st LDS Ward and had been active in scouting and church athletics. He served with the U.S. Army in Germany during World War II. Surviving are his widow of Layton; three sons, Bradley Baxter and James K. Baxter, both of Layton; Clyde W. Baxter, Upland, (Kathy) Rahn, Boise, 1900 W.
