Aux- The present members of the auxiliar had the opportunity of meeting the first and second presidents of the auxiliary, Helen Biggs, who served from 1943-4- and Helen Brown Romney, Mrs. Romney enterwhose term was 1944-4tained the group with stories of auxiliary happenings of the past. Other past presidents in attendance were Donnette Simson, Betty Lou Lawson, 1952-51953-5Rae Bair, 1968-6Judy Callicotte, 1973-7and Louise Terry Arbuckle, 1979-8Tate, 1980-8For the meeting, the Bountiful Jaycee Clubhouse was decorated around the theme of discovery through direction. A ship motif was used and the members took a trip on the USS Discovery. 4 5. 3; 4; 9; 4; 1. This was the theme of the talk by the national Jay cette president Linda Hood who was guest speaker. This was the first time that a national president of the club had visited Bountiful. She told the members that you can only spend your time once every day and you should make the most of your opportunities to serve. Women can only be Jaycettes between the ages of 18 and 36, so every Jaycee experience should be enjoyed to the fullest, she said. Mrs. Hood is from Orrington, Maine. She joined the Jaycettes in 1974 in Banger, Maine, Mrs. Hood travels extensively around the United States representing the Jaycettes. Mrs. Hood was presented with a special quilt from the state Jaycettes, a pillow with the state of Utah and a beehive from the Bountiful Jaycettes and a sentimental plaque from the Kays-vill- e Jaycettes. . They moved back to Utah in 1970, and she has resided in Roy since that time. , Mr. Crawford died in 1973. She is a member of the Roy-4tLDS Ward and still actively doing temple work and Relief Society teaching. While living in San Francisco, she completed a stake LDS mission.. She has one son, David W.
