Show Council Ruling Lakeside Review, Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1981 Landscape Artist To Display Work Bountiful Workers Given Pay Hike BOUNTIFUL The Bountiful City Council has approved a pay raise for city employees. Employees will receive a raise of five percent, the council decided, in five annual steps. The raise will begin to show up on the Nov. 30 payroll, city manager Tom Hardy said. The raise was approved for most city employees except the power department. The council, by a 2 okayed a separate agreement for them. The power department will receive an adjustment that is about 97 percent of Utah Power and. So when one Christmas he couldnt think of a gift, he brought her home an easel and a box of oils. That was the beginning. Since her first adult education classes, she has attended courses and seminars taught by painters from all over the United States. She loves learning new techniques and artistic secrets. For the past two years she has been teaching landscape painting at her studio and through some stores. I teach painting to share the secrets and ideas of the old masters, she said. Monument companies will be notified as will mortuaries. Deeds for plots purchased in the Syracuse City Cemetery will be stamped to that effect. Class Offered at Complex ROY-- The roy Recreation Com- plex is taking registration for a dietexercise class. Women are welcome to join this class a month at a time and come as often as they wish.
