THE BENEFITS to be derived from a county fair need not be urged upon those who have had experiences along this line or who have given thought to the subject. Davis County is especially able to make a creditable display in everything that the richest of soils, the most favorable climate can produce with the aid of water from mountain streams that flow in babbling purity to help the industrious husbandman. EVERY ACRE of land in this county, from the foothills to the saline barrens of our beautiful lake will produce something. Fruits on the uplands, pasturage in the bottoms and farm and gardens between fill the county with abundance. Shall we not let our neighbors know of our success and our prospects? The fair association was organized under the laws of Utah. Officers vere Hyrum Stewart, president; Leo J. Muir, vice president; Edward B. Clark, treasurer; William H. Streeper Jr., secretary.
