HANSEN was born Aug. 26, 1892 in Hyrum, Utah, the son of Hans Peter and Charlotte Williams Hansen, Jr. He married Hannah Cook, Dec. 20, 1916 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Cook, Marvin J. Ashton, HIS FAMILY moved to Idaho when he was a small child and resided in Shelley, Driggs, and Darby before returning to Syracuse. He was 17 years of age when they returned to Utah to make their home and Syracuse has been his home since that time. He had been a prominent farmer and business man in the Syracuse area all of his life. He was chairman of the board of the Hansen Lumber Company of Ogden for 30 years. Served on Syracuse City Council for eight years, turkey grower for 10 years, hauled milk from (he local farmers to the Mutual member of the Council of the Twelve of the LDS Church and Pres. C. Russell Hansen. A QUARTET rendered the selection "O My Father," accompanied by Steve Hansen. Singing were Bishop Ferret S. Gailey, Craig Murray, Dick Egan and Paul Smcdley. Dick Egan rendered a vocal solo "1 Walked Today Where Jesus Walked, accompanied by Steve Hansen. The be- nediction was by William H. (Bill) Child. The grave in the Syracuse Cemetery was dedicated by Gordon Earl Hansen. in Ogden for some 25 years, and had operated a saw mill in Southern Utah for a lengthy' time. Mr. Hansen was affiliated with the Syracuse baseball league for 30 years. PALLBEARERS were eight grandsons, Craig N. Hansen," Brooks Hansen, J. Kelly Hansen, Scott C. Hansen, Robert K. Hansen, Jerry E. Hansen, David D. Hansen and Paul S. Marble. The flowers and food were cared for by the Syracuse Second LDS Ward Relief Society organization, and the funeral directors were Lindquist Kaysville Mortuary, vsb MR. HANSEN was an active member of the Syracuse 2nd LDS Ward; serving as a high priest, secretary of the MIA, scoutmaster for over 20 years. II, 1982 of injuries when he was run over by a truck near d his home. HE WAS bom May 28, 1977 in Denver. Colo, fits mother was formerly of Kaysville. He attended Makalopa Elementary School in Honolulu. His parents are members of the LDS Church and he was active in Primary. The family had lived in Honolulu for two years. SURVIVING are his widow of Kaysville; two sons and one daughter, Clifford E. Butcher, Kaysville; Morris J. Butcher, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Larry (Dolly Jo) Chidester, Myton, Utah; six grandchildren and his father of Layton. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Thomas A. Butcher, Fruit Heights; Morris G. HE WAS bom Jan. 21, 1933 Kaysville, a son of Morris J. nd Ruby R. Ward Butcher. He married Kay Brown in 950 in Idaho. They were later ivorced. He married Los Ann It. Peter on May 2, 1953 in ivanston, Wyo. HE HAD been a mechanic nd had lived in Utah for 48 ears and in Washington State ar one year. He attended avis High School and was a lember of the Kaysville 19th n Butcher, Rupert, Ida.; Mrs. Sylvia Call, West Layton; half sisters, Mrs. Wanda Sampson, Ogden; Mrs. Thea Stephenson, Salt Lake City and Mrs. lone Wylly of Arkansas. Lynda Hutchinson Dies In Accident Lynda Kay Hutchinson, 21, of 1268 Nicholls Road, Fruit Heights, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1982 in Corpus Christ!, Tex., of injuries suffered in an automobile accident. SHE WAS born July 18, 1961, in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Rowan and Mary Hutchinson. She was serving in the Utah National Guard at Fort Sam Houston, Tex. She was a gr- aduate nursing student at Brigham Young University. She was an outstanding athlete, student and musician. She was a member of the LDS Church. SURVIVING are her parents of Fruit Heights, three brothers and two sisters. The grandmother is Mrs. Tish Morgan of Dallas. Tex. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Coward recently returned from vacationing in the Northwest and California. They drove to Jacksonville, Ore. to visit his Mr. sister and brother-in-laand Mrs. Que Jameson and then traveled down the coast to Santa Rosa, Calif, where they visited with Mrs. Betty O'Brien (hen on to Sacramento to visit a grandson, Elder Morgan Cloward who is serving an LDS mission there and is presently serving as secretary to the mission president. At San Jose they visited another grandson Elder Chet Cloward who is serving on his mission in San Jose. At Orange, Calif, they visited with their son and his family. Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Cloward and three daughters and spent time sightseeing. Also at Burbank to the Johnny Carson Show, Real People Show and Glen Campbell Show. Mr. and Mrs. Russell W. Buher spent a few days in Portland, Ore. where they were with their daughter and family, Owen and Linda Mason and son Ryan. Linda underwent major surgery on Monday, Oct. 11.
