Show t FEBRUARY 9, 1983 SOCIETY By NORMA PREECE 544-875- 1 Mrs. Ora Campbell is now at home after a two month stay in California with her twin daughters and their families. She spent the month of December with Mrs. Bula Byrd at Fair Oaks and the month of January with Mrs. Rula Campbell at lone, Calif. Nineteen family members were at the airport to see her back to Utah. Russell W. Buhler underwent major surgery Tuesday morning, Feb. 1 at the St. Benedicts Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Gayle Starkes, Mrs. Edith Lewis and Mrs. Sally Higginson attended the funeral service of Mrs. Altha Richins at Evanston, Wyo. on Saturday. Mrs. Richins was a relative of the group. Word has been received by relatives in Kaysville that Mrs. Lucille Richins fell and broke her hip. She and her husband Leo are in Alaska where they are serving on an LDS mission. They are members of the Kaysville 2nd LDS Ward. Mrs. Fran Brown and MR. AND MRS. JEFF L. ROBERTS daughter Jenny returned home from Lake Tahoe, Calif, where they spent two weeks with February Rites Kimberli Winegar and Jef- fery L. Roberts were married Feb. 5 at Valley View Golf Course by Bishop Winslow Hurst. THE BRIDE is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Robinson and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Winegar of Layton. The groom is the son of Mrs. Peggy B. Roberts of Layton and Joseph Roberts of Riverdale. A reception was held in honor of the couple at the Valley View Golf Course after the ceremony. MAID OF honor was Miss Pat Winegar. Bridesmaids Mrs. Browns father, Frank Fretwell who was released from the hospital, where he had been confined the past months after undergoing critical major surgery. Dale L. Burton is confined to the Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City for treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sides entertained their Pinochle Club Saturday evening with eight guests from Roy. Mrs. Lucile B. Sheffield was a guest in Clearfield Monday of her sister, Mrs. Geneal Barlow who entertained in honor of their nephew, Elder Lynn Weller of Houston, Tex. Elder Weller has been called to serve his mission in California and entered the MTC on Thursday. Other guests included his parents, Grace and Frank Snell of Orem and an aunt, Mrs. Lavora Jensen of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parker attended the baptism of their grandson Jason Parker held Saturday in the Salt Lake LDS Tabernacle. Jason is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Parker of Provo. Following the baptism a family dinner was held at the Little America Restaurant in honor of Jasons special dav. James Fred Sheffield underwent major surgery on Monday, Jan. 31 at Davis North Medical Center. Mrs. Rosetta Stanton is in critical condition in the intensive care unit of McKay-De- e Hospital from a sudden illness. Mr. and Mrs. Donald T. Edwards and son Todd were guests in Provo Saturday, Jan. 29 at a family gathering in honor of his father, Philo T. Edwards 84th birthday anniversary. Twelve of the 14 children and their families were on hand for the event. Mrs. Ardella Cloward is convalescing at home after undergoing foot surgery last week at Davis North Hospital in Layton. Jack Patton of Freemont, Calif, was a house guest for a few days last week of his and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sides. Mr. Patton was on a business trip to Utah. Other visitors during the week of Mr. and Mrs. Sides were her mother, Mrs. Clyde Warren of Ogden and Mrs. Sides twin sister, Mrs. Maxine Glasgow of Kearns.
