Richard Bushnell, chairman of the nominating committee for the new officers announced the slate of officers for the 1979-8year. The names were presented before KCA members and 0 voted on. NEW OFFICERS will be Tom Allen, president; John Brown, president-elect- ; Robert Anderson, adult chairman; Patty Hartley, youth chairman and Joan Olsen, secretary. Mr. Anderson and Mrs. Hartley were reelected to their positions. The secretary position is a term and the other ofpositions are a one-yefice. Ron Pearson is the outgoing president and Sandy Bernie Fisher as guest speaker and the music provided by the community orchestra and choir. Displays will be at the Kaysville Elementary School beginning Tuesday evening and booths and displays on the school grounds all day on the 4th. MRS. BEATRICE Carroll, anAFS representative nounced they are in need of a home for a student from Turkey to come and attend Davis High on the AFS Program. She feels that someone will be willing to provide a home for the two-ye- ar Butterfield resigned as secretary. MR. ALLEN thanked all those who are leaving who hive served the past year, and expressed his appreciation for their attendance and service. Mrs. Hartley announced they have scheduled a tour of the Kaysville Mountain Park for all KCA members and announced representative HE SAID they are working with the Heights Cultural and Performing Arts Council to provide the public with a tremendous Heritage Harvest Festival for the July 4th celebration. .The Kaysville Jaycees are beginning July 4th with their hand-in-han- d Kays-ville-Fr- traditional Chuckwagon Breakfast served from 6 a.m. to, 11 a.m. The parade at 1 p,m. will be followed by fun activities all afternoon. BCjjdcia BUCHANAN, Kaysville Rotary representative announced they are holding their installation banquet on Wednesday evening at the Oakridge Country Club. Udell Green will be the KCA representative for the Rotary next year. SANDY BUTTERFIELD read two poems she had written of her feelings of KCA as she leaves the organization serving the past year as secretary. She then added laughter as she presented the KCA officers and representatives with a clever individual award she had made for each. She read the verse on each award as they were presented to the recipients. Club reports were given. LUCILLE Strong, chairman of the Fine Arts Committee announced the new art exhibit at the Barnes Banking Company for July will be a collection of photographs of early Kaysville. Mrs. Alice Rampton had each of1 the photos mounted and they are now an attractive collection. By request of the citizens, this exhibit is being displayed for the public. Mrs. Strong expressed her appreciation to the many artists in the past who have so willingly assisted the committee in providing special exhibits each month. bub JOSEPH S. Hill, representative for the Kaysville-Fru- it Heights Council said they are going ahead with all plans for the Heritage Harvest Days and everyone of the 50 volunteers are pushing ahead with their plans.
