Funeral services were held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Kays-vill- e McBride; remarks, Craig Lindquist Mortuary Sanders; speaker, Bishop Chapel for Zena Williams, 84, of 232 East 200 North, Kays-villwho died March 7, 1979 of heart failure at the Davis North Medical Center in Lay-to- e, n. SHE WAS born July 9, 1894 at Thatcher, Ariz., a daughter of Thomas E. and Grace E. Bebee Williams. Moved to Syracuse, Davis County in 1900. Moved to Kaysville in 1913, where she spent her entire life. She graduated from the University of Utah and taught school in Kaysville for 38 years, before retiring. Active member of the LDS Church, Kaysville 15th LDS Ward. Was active in many organizations. SURVIVORS one brother and one sister, Howard Williams of Laguna Heights, Calif.; and Mrs. E. Van Sanders of Kaysville, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted by Craig Fisher, counselor in the Kaysville 15th LDS Ward. Family prayer was given by James. Wallace F. Allen; vocal duet, F. Burton and Joyce Winters, Beautiful Zion Built Above. Benediction was by Kemp W. Sanders. Grave was dedicated by Lon Williams. Burial was in the Kaysville Memorial Park under the direction of Mor- Kaysville Lindquist tuary. Pallbearers were John Crookston, Tom Crookston, Kenneth Crookston, Steven Major, Jeffrey Williams and Scott Williams. THE KAYSVILLE Eighth Ward Relief Society cared for the flowers, np Funeral Gary Dickson Oviatt, 41, 1314 Devon Street, Kaysville, died March 4, 1979 in an airplane accident near Fair-field, Utah County. HE WAS born April 26, 1937 to Reed A. and Marie Dickson Oviatt, in Ogden. He married Reta Marcus, Oct. 25, 1968 in Elko, Nev. Mr. Oviatt was an executive Michael for Lagoon Corporation, member of the LDS Church. In 1959 served two and one half years in a mission to New Zealand. He was reared in Farmington. SHE WAS born Feb. 9, 1979 in Salt Lake City. Surviving are her parents, three brothers, Layne Mitchell, Kirk Mitchell and Ryan Mitchell all of Kaysville. Mr. and Mrs. James Duck- worth have returned home after serving a LDS mission for one year at Tempe, Ariz. They returned March 1. They gave their mission report on Sunday, March 11, in the Fruit Heights 1st Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lange entertained at a family birthday dinner Sunday, March 4, at their home in honor of their daughter Miss Jody Lange. Thirty guests attended. There will be two performances, one beginning promptly at 7 p.m. and the other at 8: 30 p.m. The concert will be held in the Kaysville Stake Tabernacle, 198 West Center Street. This building was chosen because of its historical and acoustical qualities and also to acquaint many of the newer families in the area with the beauty and , heritage of the building. Relatives in Kaysville received word that Darrell Tingey has been seriously ill the past week at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City suffering from a heart attack. He is the husband of the former Grace Major of Kays- 2 ti hosted by her two sisters, Mrs. Phyjlis Sutton and Mrs. rt for the many floral tributes and other acts of kindness that was shown during the recent death of Mrs. Ethel ' 4 Layton. Mrs. Bernice Layton was a guest at a luncheon in Salt Lake City on Wednesday in honor of her birthday. It was Mrs. Lucille Richins is convalescing at her home after having major surgery for a mishap when she fell and broke her leg recently.
