VICTORY FOR THE FALCONS ByDAVEWIGHAM seems lost in the chase, again I believe :,the image it has in the state is the reason. Most athletes - look at the Cats as a small college or university, in football anyway. The attitude seems to be if I dont get any other roffers Ill go to Weber. In that opening round game the Clearfield bunch surprised some people with their 4 victory over Viewmont. COACH MONTE Jones was both physically and verbally upset over the play of his linemen in the loss and he need for the cites improvement in this category for this weeks effort. Two bright spots in the loss was the play of junior quarterback Kyle Morrell and senior Steve Knighton. With Morrell in the contest he gave the offense the added dimension of a scrambling runner.
