(B) All other items of personal property having a value in excess of 1500.00 and all real properly shall be sold io accordance with the following procedures: (a) Notice shall be pub- lished, giving time and place of proposed sale and noting in general the nature of the property to be sold. The notice shall be published in one issue of a newspaper of general circulation in Davis County and the sale shall take place at Ihe time Fixed in the notice, which shall be not less than ten (10) days and not more than thirty (30) days after the date of such notice. (b) The said Board shall fix a minimum price foreach item to be sold and so instruct the Davis County Clerk. If there is no offer of purchase for at least the minimum price as fixed, the item of property may be withheld from sale in accordance with instructions from the said Board. (c) In the event there is no bidder at the sale for at least the minimum price, and the Board does not elect at the public sale to sell for less than the minimum price, the property may be withdrawn from sale. In the event the property, whether it be real or personal property, is withdrawn from sale; the said Board may sell it in any manner it sees fit. (d) All property sold at pub- lie sale shall be by the Davis County Clerk and be sold at the north entrance of the Courthouse. (e) Property shall not be sold to any County official or employee of the County. (f) The Board shall have the right to lease property, real or personal and also exchange property, real or personal, for other properties of similar value as determined by the said Board, without offering any such property at public sale. Section III. The ordinance shall also apply to real property acquired by the County by default of other purchaser at the May tax sale and which property has been struck off and sold to the County by the County Auditor. Section IV. In the opinion of the Board of County Commissioners of Davis County, this ordinance is necessary for the peace, health and safety of Davis County and the inhabitants thereof; therefore, this Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and upon being published in accordance with law and a ,copy being deposited in the office of the Davis County Clerk, Farmington, Utah.
