Kay Walker of Syracuse, on August 26, 1953 in the LDS Salt Lake Temple. An active member of the LDS Church, Mrs. Walker had been a Primary president, and a teacher in numerous auxiliaries. She was an elementary school teacher until her illness a few years ago. SURVIVING ARE her husband of Mesa; four sons, and two daughters; Mark S. Walker, serving an LDS mis sion in Canada; Brian R. Walker, Globe, Ariz.; Blair R. Walker, Robert D. Walker, Miss Michelle Walker, and Miss Debra Lynne Walker, all of Mesa, Ariz. Also surviving are two brothers and one sister, Lawrence H. Wade, and Owen H. Wade both of Warren, Utah; and Mrs. Jack (Bessie) Kerr of Syracuse. FUNERAL SERVICES were held on Friday at 2 p.m. ,in the Alma Fourth LDS Ward Chapel with interment in the Mesa City Cemetery.
